Our Vision

Our Values

Caring & celebrating together

Ambitious for our learning

Respect everyone and their rights

Empathy for others

Our Mission Statement

Keeping everyone safe, happy & learning

  1. Our purpose, decisions and all the work that we do is to secure the wellbeing, happiness and success of all our children.
  2. All our children, staff, families and governors are expected to adhere to our values and strive towards achieving our vision.
  3. From all our staff and pupils we have high expectations of good teaching, learning, behaviour and attitudes to work and learning.
  4. We are active, creative, out of the box thinkers and independent learners who work hard, learn from our mistakes, embrace challenges and find solutions.
  5. We actively listen to our children, take their views on board, plan lessons according to their needs and interests, and teach fun, challenging lessons that will engage and challenge all our pupils.
  6. Staff and pupils work and learn together in a happy, positive environment as a team and family.
  7. We ensure that children know their rights and that adults understand their duty to uphold and promote those rights.

#TeamFeatherstone

Our doors are always open to all. We are open, honest, and ask for help when needed without hesitation. We share and collaborate, work hard and make a positive contribution to the team. We treat everyone equally and with respect. We use positive language, kind words and respect to talk about and to each other. We work together to find solutions.

#FeatherstoneFamily

We acknowledge and greet each other with a smile. We value, care help and look out for each other. We are friendly, polite and go out of our way to welcome others. We create a warm, happy, positive environment and are thoughtful and kind to each other.
